Hey Sheila;
I was thinking about you today as I scanned my past ski logs and thought about the few half marathons I have done. By now I presume you have done your long run in preparation and you are now in taper mode. My memory of that is it is nice (but scary too) to know all your training for the event is now behind you, and what is left is the performance of the event itself. This always causes me some anxious moments, whether it's a race, a climb or other important life events. So anyhow I hope you are busy enough to not think about it too much and keep calm enough to not stress about it too much (like I have at times, yeah do what I say not what I do LOL) As you are finalizing your prep for this I have just finished my first week of ramping up in skate skiing. I go often but not too far everyday, 2.5-5km, and I ran/walked yesterday, run 2 miles walk 1. Sheila I am a natural leader, but I must say I am pleased to follow along when I find someone such as you!

I had a long walk today - you would have been proud of me! 10-15 miles or thereabouts.
No luck on the cheap last-minute airfares as you no doubt realized - since I didn't come knockin on your door.
